About me

Although these days I primarily write creative fiction and manga/manhua & animation analysis, my professional life is quite varied.I hold a BA in English, an MS in Library & Information Science, and an MA in English Literature, along with four relevant certifications.I’m always looking to grow as a human being and as a professional. I currently work as a member of a university library's administrative team, which has helped me on my path of transitioning out of librarianship and into something that matches my goals. I've been an executive assistant, a librarian, and tutor. I've also written non-fiction and informational pieces for one of my university library’s committees during my time as a student assistant.I've written and edited content for online magazines, and even ran an Instagram page with 900+ followers between 2017 and 2021, all in a freelance capacity. I also ran my own chronic illness blog, Wish Upon a Spoon, where I wrote about my personal experiences and advocated for those with invisible illnesses. This advocacy work allowed me to reach larger audiences and work with organizations who also aim support those in the margins and intersections. In my free time, I enjoy music (playing and listening), reading manga, and drinking large mugs of warm tea or coffee.
