About me

Although I primarily write creative fiction and manga/manhua & animation analysis, my professional life is quite varied.I hold a BA in English, an MS in Library & Information Science, and an MA in English Literature. I'm also certified in Digital Curation & Data Management, Archival Management, Youth Services, and Storytelling.I currently work as a member of a university library's administrative team; however, I've been a librarian and was the volunteer coordinator for the library system during that time. I've written non-fiction and informational pieces for my university library's Digital Scholarship department. As an intern in a private university library's Special Collections department, I processed, rehoused, and created a finding aid for the archival materials of the Goodrich Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing collection.I've written and edited content for online magazines and ran an Instagram page with 900+ followers between 2017 and 2021 in a freelance capacity. Finally, I ran my own chronic illness blog, Wish Upon a Spoon, where I wrote about my personal experiences and advocated for those with invisible illnesses. In my off time, I enjoy reading books and manga, as well as drinking large mugs of warm tea or coffee.
